Sure, the standards are high, but so are our own expectations. You see, we don’t follow GAF guidelines to earn a fancy title – we do it because it’s the only way we know how. Because it’s the RIGHT thing to do.

Suprassing Installation Standards
Most roofing and siding contractors will do just enough to meet building codes. If they’re using GAF, they may do the minimum to meet GAF’s standards. But we go above and beyond building codes AND GAF standards.
We install starter strips on eaves, which isn’t required. We use 36-inch ice and water shields when only 24 inches are required. Here at BCS, we EXCEED the “standards” in every way.
No Cutting Corners. Ever.
You won’t believe some of the shortcuts other contractors take. Seriously – it’s incredible. At BCS Roofing & Solar, we never cut corners.
Unlike many other contractors, we never reuse housewrap during our siding installations. We never lay shingles over your old shingles. And we always use four to six nails per shingle. As a result, your warranty remains intact, and your roof and siding will last for decades.
